一联合国／国际生态安全科学院授予刘宗超院士仪式

10月19日，在北京钓鱼台国宾馆举行向中国社

会科学院世界农业经济专家、北京君草国际农业科学

研究院副院长刘宗超先生授予联合国／国际生态安全科

学院院士仪式，联合国／国际生态安全合作组织主席

蒋明君、北北国际合作组织主席谢希尔，国际生态安全

科学院副主席施拉普诺夫，前美国朱诺市副市长吉

姆·鲍威尔及中外新闻社总编辑、北北国际合作组

织首席新闻官韦燕、农业部原副部长孟宪德、农业

部政策法规司原司长、北京君草国际农业科学研究院

院长郭书田、中国人民大学科技哲学教授、博士生导师

黄顺基等有关专家、学者出席仪式。

刘宗超是我国年轻的生态专家，1985年以来，先

后在中国科学院新疆地理研究所(天山积雪站)、生态

环境研究中心生态系统开放实验室、中(国)加(拿大)

资源环境高技术中心任助理研究员、副研究员、研究

员，1984年5月起任中国人民大学中国人口、环境与发

展研究中心副秘书长、博士后研究员，曾发表物理学、

地理学、生态学、哲学和社会学方面的论文60余篇。近

10年问，与人合作致力于“生态文明”的理论与实践工

作，积极促进中国可持续发展进程。蒋明君主席宣读了

联合国／国际生态安全科学院授予刘宗超院士的决定，

国际生态安全科学院副院长、施拉普诺夫’根纳吉‘谢

苗诺维奇向刘宗超颁发了国际生态安全科学院院士证

书。

会上，刘宗超发表感言，他说，感谢联合国生

态安全科学院对他所做工作的认可。他说，21世纪

是经济大发展世纪，把生态文明观和可持续发展战略

同我国的经济发展与现代化建设结合起来，这是一项

极其复杂、极其艰巨的系统工程，需要一代接一代人

作不懈的努力。刘宗超表示一定依靠生态研究的学术

群体，在他的导师黄顺基的支持下，闯出一条有中国

特色的可持续发展之路，并为人类发展确立一种全球

生态文明的新范例。

据悉，联合国／国际生态安全科学院还将继续严

格考核、审查、授予一批对生态有卓越贡献的科学家为

联合国／国际生态安全科学院院士。

Foster the first class ecologist

UN/International Academy of Ecological Safety and Life Protection Science

     On October 19th, the conferring ceremony by UN/

International Academy of Ecology and Life Protection

Science for Academician Dr. Liu Zongchao took

place at Diao Yu Tai state guesthouse. Currently, Dr. Liu

is the economist and vice president of Research

Center for Agriculture Economy and Beijing Juncao

Research International.

     Present at the ceremony are Dr. Jiang Mingjun,

chairman of UN/International Eco-Safety Cooperative

Organization (UNIESCO) , Mr. Cecil Steward, chairman

of UN/North North Network (UNNN), Mr. Jim

Powell, (ex-Vice Mayor of Juneau, US)and Mr.

Shlapunov Gennady, vice-chairmen of UN/

International Academy of Ecological Safetyand and

Life Protection Science, Mr. Wei yan, the Chief Editor

of Home and Abroad News Press and Chief News

Officer of UNNN Mr. Meng XianDe, Ex-minister

of Chinese Ministry of Agriculture Mr.Guo Shutian

Ex-director of Policy & Rule Division of Agriculture

Ministry, dean of Beijing International Juncao

Research Institute of Agriculture; Mr. Huang Shunji,

Professor and PHD supervisor in Philosophy Studies,

Remin university of China, and other experts.

     Academician Liu is a young Chinese ecology

expert. Since 1985, he has been working with the

China Xinjiang Research Institute of Geography

(Tianshan Station), the Eco-system laboratory of China

Eco-environmental Institute, Sino-Canadian High-Tech

Center of Resources and Environment as assistant

researcher, viceresearcher and researcher respectively.

In May 1984, he took the position as Vice general

secretary and postdoctoral researcher in China

Population, Environmental Development Research

Center, Renmin University of China, and presented

a 60 pages thesis related to physics, geography,

ecologist, philosophy and sociology. In the past ten

years, he worked together with others in Ecological

Civilization theory and practical work; promoted

actively in sustainable development of China. Dr.

Jiang (UNIESCO) read the written decision and then,

Mr. Shlapunov Gennady conferred the ceirtificate to

academician Liu.

     At the ceremony, academician Liu expressed his

gratitude to Academy for the confirmation and

recognition to his work. He said that in this rapid

economic developing century, to combine the idea of

ecological civilization and sustainable development

strategy with our Chinese economic development and

modernization is complicated and uneasy task. Persistent

effort by generations after generations is essential

for success. Academician Liu expressed the hope

that with the support and assistance given by his team

and Mr. Huang - his supervisor, he will find a new

approach of sustainable development with Chinese

characteristics and create a new role model of ecological

civilization.

     It is reported that the UN/International Academy

of Ecology and Life Protection Science will continue

to assess and confer the title to more outstanding
